College Football Week 1 Opening Line Report

Nearly every FBS school in the nation will be on the field for the official start of the college football season in Week 1. While most programs will be playing a weaker non-conference or FCS opponent, there are some marquee matchups. The biggest game of the week is undoubtedly Georgia heading to Death Valley to take on Clemson. One of these two teams will get a huge leg up in their bid to make the revamped College Football Playoff with a win.

Week 0 College Football Odds and Movement (August 28)

While the college football season traditionally kicks off on Labor Day Weekend, we have seen a new trend emerge over the last decade. Teams that aren’t used to being in the spotlight jump at the chance to take part in so-called “Week 0” games. Alabama is taking on a Power Five non-conference foe as we have seen the Crimson Tide do often in the Nick Saban era, but perhaps the biggest surprise involves the Big Ten. Most Big Ten teams are facing a quality opponent either inside or outside of conference play, and those games will carry a lot of intrigue.
