LIV Golf Singapore Odds and Picks

Cameron Smith is listed as the favorite to win this week’s LIV Golf Singapore. Smith has not won since taking LIV Chicago last season, but he is still getting a lot of respect in LIV odds. Smith is listed with odds of +1000, while Brooks Koepka and Dustin Johnson are next at +1200. We have seen a different winner each week on the LIV Tour this season and that was the case last year as well. Koepka is the only player to have won more than one LIV event, as he won in Saudi Arabia last season and he won in Orlando this season. There will be a total of 48 players in the LIV Golf Singapore event which takes place at Sentosa Golf Club in Singapore. Let’s look at LIV Golf Singapore picks.

Cameron Smith +1100

The favorite continues to lose in golf betting on both the PGA Tour and the LIV Tour. This week Smith has the dubious honor of being the betting favorite and that means we have to pass on taking him. We seem to see a surprise winner every week in LIV, but it is worth noting that Smith has won in the past on the LIV Tour and he is still the best player in the field.

Value Picks

Peter Uihlein +2200

If there is a player overdue for a win it is definitely Peter Uihlein. He now leads the player standings and he has four top-10 finishes this season. He has not played this course in the past, but he is definitely familiar with playing all over the world from his time on the DP World Tour. He is also one of the longest hitters on the LIV Tour and his distance should help him this week. I think there is a little bit of value on him at odds of 22-1.

Sergio Garcia +2500

Garcia has played at Sentosa Golf Club three times in the past and finished in the Top 15 all three times, including a win in the 2018 SMBC Singapore Open. He comes in playing better, as he finished in 14th in Adelaide. Course experience could be a big key this week and Sergio has that edge. We get a decent price on Sergio at 25-1.

Paul Casey +2800

You have to give Casey a plus this week simply because of his experience at Sentosa Golf Club. He has played three times previously, with a combined score of 38-under par. He finished second in the Singapore Open in 2019. Casey has been a disappointment so far in LIV, but this could be the week where he breaks out and gets a win and we get 28-1.

Ian Poulter +10000

Poulter is an interesting longshot this week. He has played well in the past on this course with a combined score of 21-under par in two previous appearances. He won the 2009 Barclays Singapore Open and he tied for 6th the following year. I know Poulter has struggled in LIV so far, but we have seen longshots hit in LIV Golf at big prices already in the past two seasons.
