Antonio Brown has been in the news recently and for all of the wrong reasons. Brown is a seven-time Pro Bowler and won a Super Bowl ring last year with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. On the field, Brown can be an undeniable asset with the NFL Football Lines. But his deranged strip tease at MetLife Stadium in December cost him his job. Antonio will likely get another phone call from a desperate coach in the future, but he brings a lot of baggage. Antonio has a couple of cousins who have played in the NFL, Kenbrell Thompkins, and Marquise Brown.

Kenbrell Thompkins played in the NFL from 2013 through 2015 with the Patriots, Raiders, and Jets. He caught 70 career passes and four touchdowns. And then Marquise Brown was a first-round pick of the Baltimore Ravens in 2019, where he still plays. Marquise has 195 career receptions with 21 touchdowns.

Let’s now take a look at other famous cousins from the NFL.

NFL Vegas lines – Zendejas Family

There is nothing like having a game ride on the final play in which a kicker wins or loses NFL picks and parlays with a field goal attempt. And no family has produced more kickers than the Zendejas clan.

Tony Zendejas broke into pro football with the USFL Los Angeles Express. He impressed the NFL so much that he was with the Houston Oilers by 1985 and stayed there through 1990. Subsequently, Tony went on to kick for the Rams, Falcons, and 49ers. He kicked 186 field goals for his career with a 78.3% success rate.

Tony’s cousin Luis Zendejas kicked in the NFL from 1986 through 1989, after getting his start in the USFL with the Arizona Wranglers. Max Zendejas is another cousin of Tony who kicked in the NFL from 1986 through 1991. And not to be forgotten is Tony’s cousin Joaquin, who played two NFL football betting picks games for the Patriots in 1983.

Free NFL picks – Chubb Family

Nick Chubb is a three-time Pro Bowler for the Cleveland Browns that was picked in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Chubb is one of the best backs in the NFL. The workhorse has cleared the 1000-yard benchmark in his last three seasons after rushing for 996 yards as a rookie. Just as important, Chubb is a good receiver. Nick has two cousins that have also played in the NFL.

Nick’s cousin Bradley continues to play for the Denver Broncos as an outside linebacker. He was a 2020 Pro Bowl selection and was named to the 2018 PFWA All-Rookie team. He burst on the Bet on NFL games scene in 2018 with 12 sacks and 14 tackles for loss. And then Brandon Chubb bounced around the NFL with several teams from 2016 through 2019 as an aspiring player that never caught on.

The Lynch, Johnson, and Russell Families

Marshawn Lynch was a five-time Pro Bowl running back and a Super Bowl champion for the Seattle Seahawks. He surpassed the career benchmark of 10000 yards rushing, 2200 yards receiving and totaled 94 touchdowns. Lynch compiled a total of six seasons in which he ran for over 1000 yards. Although he has voiced an interest in returning to the league to play for a contender, his phone is yet to ring.

Josh Johnson is a cousin of Marshawn Lynch and has had a journeyman career as a backup quarterback in the NFL. Currently, he is on the roster of the Baltimore Ravens. Johnson has appeared in 37 NFL games with 2270 yards passing, and 13 touchdown passes.

JaMarcus Russell is another cousin of Marshawn Lynch that played in the NFL. Unfortunately, JaMarcus went down as one of the greatest busts in NFL history. Russell was the number one overall pick of the 2007 NFL Draft out of LSU. That proved to be the peak of his wasted NFL career.

Fortunately for JaMarcus, then-Raiders owner and dictator Al Davis was hopelessly enthralled with him. Russell played three years for the Raiders before even Davis threw in the towel. His career QB rating was 65.2 with an 18/23 TD/INT ratio.
