The Buffalo Bills enter the 2023-24 NFL betting season having won the AFC East three straight times and logged double-digit win tallies in four of Josh Allen’s five seasons running the offense. I recommended fading the Bills win total a season ago and ended up paying for it. Regardless, I’ll be doing it again in 2023-24 as I just don’t see this team being the dominator it’s been from year’s past. Something always seems to come up and bite this cursed franchise at the worst possible time, so I can’t wait to see what the football gods have in store for BillsMafia this season! Fingers crossed Buffalo gets out to a perfect 3-0 start and we can fade the Bills at a juicier number in the readjusted futures odds market over at BetRivers. That trio following the matchup with the Commanders is a gauntlet! It gets nine home games overall though one will take place against Jacksonville in London Week 5.
Six of its true home games will be played before the Week 13 bye which means it’ll only play in front of the hometown faithful twice down the stretch. On top of that, the first place schedule of a year ago earned them visits to Paul Brown Stadium, Lincoln Financial Field, Arrowhead Stadium, and SoFi Stadium for non-divisional matchups against the Bengals, Eagles, Chiefs, and Chargers. I can see them going 0-4 just as easily as 2-2 in those dustups! As much I respect Josh Allen’s game, the offense is nowhere near as deadly without his dual-threat ability. Now in year six of his professional career, how much more can the unit bank on his scrambling ability to get the job done? I truly feel the window of opportunity has already started to shut on this franchise. Again, look to fade the Bills total in season at a juicier number. If you must get in at the outset, I recommend hitting the under at a nice plus-money return.
